How to use a digital caliper?

A digital caliper is a precision measuring instrument used to measure the thickness, width, and depth of an object. It is a handheld device that has a digital display that measures in inches or millimeters. This device is perfect for precise measurements and is a great addition to any toolbox.

To use a digital caliper, first, make sure the jaws are open wide enough to fit the object you are measuring. Close the jaws around the object and gently squeeze until the caliper is snug against the object. Be careful not to squeeze too hard or you may damage the object. then, use the buttons on the caliper to measure the object.

Next, press the “ON/OFF” button to turn on the caliper. The display will show the current measurement. To measure in inches, press the “INCH” button. To measure in millimeters, press the “MM” button.

To measure the thickness of an object, press the “THICKNESS” button. The caliper will automatically measure the thickness of the object and display the measurement on the screen.

To measure the width of an object, press the “WIDTH” button. The caliper will automatically measure the width of the object and display the measurement on the screen.

To measure the depth of an object, press the “DEPTH” button. The caliper will automatically measure the depth of the object and display the measurement on the screen.

When you finish measuring, make sure to close the jaws of the caliper before turning it off. To turn off the caliper, press the “ON/OFF” button. Doing so will ensure that the caliper is turned off properly and that the measurements you took are stored correctly.
